Punkrockers-Radio presents: Fucking The Nation Every Day – A free download compilation
Download
For more than ten years, Fucking The Nation Every Day has been the slogan of
punkrockers-radio.de. So it stands to reason to dedicate our first
compilation to the very same slogan. When I started off with this station
two years ago, I already had about 30 years of listening to punk music under
my belt, and I had almost stopped looking for new bands. Hosting a radio
show, the search was on again. And thus - and mostly through the internet -
I have found a lot of brilliant bands from all over the world. I'm happy to
present 19 of theses bands with this compilation. Punk may have grown old,
but luckily, it is still colourful, packed with power and flourishing all
over the world.

Enjoy listening

Borrachos
Mönchengladbach - Germany
The title means ode to punk rock. This really is a declaration of love to punk rock in an appropriate musical environment.

Black Sails, Western Shores

Brilliant guitar, melancholic vocals. Plus a song about radio. Definitely a must-have for this compilation.

Burning Streets
Boston - US
For my taste, this song unites pretty much every element of a punkrock song. Melodic guitar, driving rhythm, harmonies for several voices and some tempo change. Awesome.

Brixton Robbers
Quebec - Canada
Let them bitch about street punk. As long as it produces this kind of song, I don’t want to miss it.

The Fuckwits
Sheffield - UK
Nobody’s better at 1977 punkrock than the Brits. As this song reveals, that’s still true after 35 years.

The Septic Psychos
Chesterfield - UK
Some kind of a punkrock blueprint: simple, dirty and angry.

Terminal Decline
London - UK
This song reminds me of the early 80s, when I was scratching the symbol of anarchy and the logo of Crass into the school table.

Dirty Bees
Ecaussinnes - Belgium
My kind of ska punk. Goes right into your face as well as into your dancing shoes.

KITT
Lippstadt - Germany
An upbeat combination of punk, rock’n’roll and surf. Those three guys are definitely sick.

Feast or Famine
Edmonton - US
For some strange reason, this song reminds me of a movie scene in “Blues Brothers” , when the bar owner welcomes the band with the iconic line: We play both. Country and Western.

East End Radicals
Montreal - Canada
This country song feels like a horse ride. First you trot, then that nag bolts and it’s getting faster and faster.

Rotten Tomatoes
Budapest - Hungary
A very diverse song that’s balancing melodically between punk anthem and ska song.

Harmony-driven punkrock with ska rhythm and an organ.

Catchy pop going straight ahead. A true hit single.

Buggirl
Wollongong - Australien
Other bands need five or six musicians for a lot less rock’n’roll. In Buggirl, it’s only two. Respect!

The Haverchucks

Ramones meets Naked Raygun. Many aahs, many ohs, and after about one minute, it’s all over.

This is the perfect invitation to sing along / drink along. You will want to hitch a ride to Scotland and knock back a drink.
